Annotation

The aim of the project is to support migrants, through trainings and counselling, in their search for employment and on their way to integration in the Czech labor market in general. Given that this target group is very diverse (length of stay in the Czech Republic, Czech language level, work experience, parents of small children, etc.), and that it is often on the verge of social exclusion, we have developed a comprehensive training program that offers a variety of services and activities.

Project description

The participants can choose from a comprehensive range of services, which are focused on getting rid of their dependency on clientelism. They get acquainted with the often changing labor law which sets the rules of legal employment and entrepreneurship, they learn important knowledge and good self-presentation skills that help in the recruitment process, they improve their Czech language skills and get the information needed to perform a specific profession in the country.

Activities:

  • intensive training courses (including the training of the recruitment process through an Assessment Center)
  • job clubs for sharing
  • Czech language classes
  • individual career counselling
  • expert consultations
  • internships
  • requalification courses

Project location: Prague

Outputs:

  • 70 clients trained
  • updated e-learning portal containing information from the courses for distance learning
  • roundtable focused on sharing best practice with the participation of a foreign guest for the transfer of expertise

The project is financed by the Operational Program Prague - Adaptability and the budget of the city of Prague.
