Annotation

The aim of the partnership project implemented by three organizations is to raise the awareness of the majority female population on equal opportunities (EO) through an original publication, while supporting a group of women in the Vysocina region to establish a women's organization. The publication will be presented at a regional seminar and a conference in Prague and it will be distributed within the target group.

Project description

The project responds to the problem of low gender awareness, ignorance and indifference of the broadest group of women living in the various regions of the Czech Republic (in small towns and villages), who don’t have the opportunity or motivation to learn about the topic of equal opportunities and women's rights. A publication will be created based on the cooperation between three partners, it will introduce the entire concept of EO in an understandable language. Workshops focusing on EO and gender roles as well as the development of competencies and self-esteem fostering will be organized in the Vysocina region. During the workshops, we will examine the issues that women in regions are dealing with, the level of their awareness about EO, and we will then use this gained information in the publication.
